This event is designed to inspire you to forage for yourself and ultimately eat more wild food. There will be things you have never tried before and even some that you never thought you could!

Events like these don't happen all the time and we want to make it as special as possible for those attending. This is undoubtedely one of the highlights of our events calendar, giving us an opportunity to flex our culinary skills, show off the finest foraged ingredients and enjoy a celebratory atmosphere! Each course will be introduced by Jim (Forage Box Founder and your chef for the evening) and will be loaded with amazing wild flavours that you just cannot buy in the shops!

Wild Canapé - served upon arrival

Wild Mezze - a selection of preserved items (pickles, ferments and more!)

Wild Shellfish - how to deal with a non-native invasive species? Eat it!

Wild Game - the main event! This is not game you can typically buy in the shops...

Wild Dessert - the theme is 'things that taste like citrus that aren't actually citrus'.

Please note that we are unable to offer alternatives for dietary requirements due to the nature of this event, but can operate on an 'omission' basis. I.e. if you cannot eat something, we can leave it off your plate but cannot provide a replacement food item.

Who Is This Event For?

Expect to be seated for the entire event, so mobility issues should not be a concern. Children (under 18) are not able to attend this event. No previous foraging experience is required for this event.

We strongly believe that foraging is for everyone, with all demographics welcome, regardless of age, ability, gender or ethnicity.

Attendees are encouraged to walk, cycle or use public transport to get to the destination.

PARKING: There is limited free parking at this venue so please kindly park in a nearby car park (Booths, the playing field or the village square) leaving the spaces immediately outside the venue for those with mobility concerns. Please be considerate when leaving your car and do not block gates or access for other road users.

TOILETS: Toilets are available at this venue.
