This is a one-off session for teens (14-18) to enjoy the outdoors with like-minded people. There will be a range of activities to try out such as taking part in a river clean, chilling out in a hammock, filling bird feeders, having a campfire, building bird boxes, painting and sketching, or just taking a few moments to be mindful.
Meeting location:
Meet at Funges Meadow Nature Reserve, Bowden Lane, High Wycombe, HP11 1DL
What3Words: loudly.gent.logic
Please note, there is limited space for vehicles to turn around down Bowden Lane and it is a dead end.
Meeting time:
Meet at 11.00am and finish at 3.00pm. Parents/guardians should sign the young people in/out at the beginning and end of the suggestion, unless agreed with the Ranger in advance.
What to bring/wear:
Wear comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting a bit mucky, depending on the activity you would like to take part in! Bring a packed lunch and a drink. We will provide a small snack. If you would just like to spend the time relaxing, please bring a book or activity you would like to enjoy.
Note: if you think you might like to have a go at getting in the river for a river clean, please leave your shoe size!
