Frequently asked questions
Anything that can take a photo! Your best camera is the one you have on you - for most of us, that's our mobile phone but if you have a different camera that you want to practice with, please bring that!
Wild Wanders is suitable for people who are beginners/hobbyists or those who want to get out and enjoy the mindful side of photography.
We will focus on the mindful side of photography -how to slow down & think about your image instead of simply clicking the shutter. We will look at composition & challenging ourselves to see things differently. While we will not be looking in-depth at camera settings, I am happy to help where I can
It's always a risk in winter in Scotland. If it's torrential weather or there are alerts out then I will likely reschedule and you will be offered a refund or a place on another walk.
We will be sticking to flat paths where possible so the walk itself shouldn't be too challenging. The purpose of Wild Wanders is to help us slow down and be more mindful so we won't be charging off anywhere.
Sections of the walk should be accessible for all, however there are sections which are narrow and unsuitable for those requiring wheelchairs or mobility assistance.
