Event description
Create your own wild wire bittern and to learn about the techniques, tools and the most suitable wire for sculpting.

About this Event

You will leave with a beautiful small bittern sculpture to keep together with enough coloured wire to add more detail at home if desired.

Paul Green of WildWire lives and works on the Suffolk Coast as a nature reserve warden and sculptor. He takes inspiration for his sculptures from the natural world, but particularly the birds and insects of East Anglia. Find Paul Green WildWire on Facebook, Instragram and Pinterest.

All tools and materials will be supplied, but you may wish to bring:

  • A notepad and pen
  • An apron and gloves to protect your hands and clothes

You will need a PACKED LUNCH.

Please meet in the Learning Centre at Suffolk wildlife Trust’s stunning Carlton Marshes Centre in plenty of time for a 10am start. Free parking is available at the centre. Tea/coffee and biscuits will be available on arrival and throughout the day and are included in the cost of the course.
