About this event
💡 Why this weekend?
Because life isn’t meant to be all work, laundry, and wondering what to cook for dinner — sometimes we need to hit pause.
This weekend is your chance to step away from the noise and do something for you. It’s about adventure, connection, and that little spark of “oh wow, I just did that!”
You don’t need to be the fittest, bravest, or most outdoorsy woman in the world — you just need a sense of humour, a bit of curiosity, and the willingness to give it a go.
🧗 What to expect
Two nights in the beautiful Brecon Beacons with a group of women who are probably just as nervous (and excited) as you.
On Saturday, we’ll be scrambling up waterfalls and squeezing through caves — led by brilliant instructors who make it safe, fun, and 100% achievable (no, you won’t get left behind).
The rest of the time? Shared meals, laughter around the fire, space to slow down. You can watch the sunrise, join a group activity, or just curl up with a cuppa.
✨ What’s included
✔ 2 nights in the bunkhouse✔ All meals and snacks (no one goes hungry here!)✔ Gorge scrambling & caving with qualified instructors✔ All safety equipment✔ Transport to and from activities✔ Optional early morning walk & group workshops✔ A supportive women-only group (expect fast friendships)
Itinerary
Here’s the rough flow of the weekend — though timings and activities may shift depending on the group and the weather.
Friday – Arrival & Connection
- Arrive, settle in, and share a meal together.
- Evening welcome session around the fire (weather permitting) to meet the group and ease into the weekend.
Saturday – Adventure & Growth
- Optional sunrise walk for early risers.
- Full day of adventure: gorge scrambling and caving with experienced instructors.
- Dinner, relaxation, and optional evening reflection.
Sunday – Integration & Closing
- Optional sunrise walk or gentle movement.
- Group activity and closing circle to bring the weekend together.
- Lunch before heading home.
✨ Throughout the weekend there will also be chances to rest, connect, and take time for yourself — nothing is compulsory, and you can go at your own pace.
👭 Who it’s for
If you’ve ever thought ‘I’d love to do something like that… but who with?’ — this is for you
This weekend is for women who want something different — a mix of adventure, connection, and a break from routine.
Most of the women who join will be coming solo, so don’t let that put you off — you’ll be met by a friendly, inclusive group where connections happen quickly (and usually over food!).
It’s also perfect if you’ve ever wanted to try something adventurous but didn’t have anyone to do it with.
🚫 Sorry lads — this one’s women only.
🧘 Beyond the adventure
Alongside the activities, there’ll be the option to dip into relaxed workshops and gentle reflection — or you can just put your feet up with a cuppa or enjoy a nap. No pressure.
Accommodation
Our base for the weekend is a cosy spot right in the south of the Brecon Beacons National Park — with the famous Four Falls area on the doorstep (no driving needed once you arrive!).
The bunkhouse has been newly renovated and is designed for comfort after a big day outdoors. Expect:
- Comfortable shared rooms with single beds and bunk beds (you’ll be sharing with other women).
- Modern bathrooms with hot showers (no cold campsite wash-ups here!).
- A big farmhouse kitchen, long dining table, and lounge with sofas for relaxing together.
- A fire-pit area, undercover picnic space, and plenty of land to explore.
It’s simple, sociable accommodation that makes it easy to connect. Bedding is provided, so you only need to bring your personal essentials.
🚐 Getting around
All you need to do is get yourself to the bunkhouse on Friday — from there, everything’s taken care of.
No faffing with maps or carpools — you just turn up and we’ll handle the rest
I’ll be hiring a minibus to take us to and from activities, so once you arrive you can relax knowing transport is sorted.
🚉 Don’t Drive? If you’re travelling by train, there’s the option to be collected from Reading Station (on the direct London–Wales route) for an additional cost. Depending on bookings, we may also be able to arrange pick-ups at Bristol Parkway or Newport. Please get in touch before booking if this would help you, and I can confirm availability.
