WILD (Outdoor) YOGA NIDRA DEEP MEDITATION – also known as non-sleep deep rest (practiced lying down)

Come and experience something new and really different – a deep meditation, outside, in a beautiful wild setting. Nestled in 3 acres of beautiful gardens, we will connect more easily to nature and the rhythms of the earth – something that can often be difficult in our modern world.

Yoga Nidra is a 10-step deep meditation that takes you to that liminal place between sleep and wakefulness – when you’re not sure if you are dreaming or awake… A bit like having a nap! The meditation is practiced lying down, and as there aren’t any physical yoga poses, anyone can do it.

The process – which includes breathwork, body rotations and visualisations takes you to a deeply healing and relaxing state where you are very suggestible. It is designed to help you remove blocks and even perhaps find your true direction or purpose.

So come and feel the earth beneath you, look up at the sky, and relish the views! Hear and connect to all the sounds of nature, re-establish your internal rhythm, and go back out into the world rejuvenated - more whole and in tune with both yourself and life!

Have you ever wondered why sometimes you are really affected by certain people or places (positively or negatively) - or that vibe you get when you just walk into a room...?

The session will last approximately 90 minutes; with a 45 minute Meditation, followed by Cuppa + Cake by the lake filled with Coy carp… You will have time to enjoy a refreshing drink, where you can chat, share your experiences and ask any questions, or just chill out and enjoy this unique space. Maybe find a little nook on your own n continue enjoying the peace…

This is a developing project where you can contribute to the format and co-create something really special. Offered at an introductory price, with homemade refreshments available to purchase. Please respect that we are very fortunate to be able to use this space and the facilities in Sally's private 3 acre grounds. There is also a nice toilet ;).

*Please remember that this is an outside meditation – weather permitting. Should the weather be inclement, we shall enjoy our practice in the little cabin. Please dress to appropriately; making sure you have sufficient layers, a mat and a blanket and socks. A flat cushion or rolled up towel for your head. Sleeping bags & hats optional…We will endeavor to practice our Meditations outside unless it is REALLY Cold or raining!

**N.B. Yoga Nidra is not suitable for anyone who has experienced a psychotic episode or who is on anti-psychotic medication, as we use altered states of consciousness and trance states.
