About this event

Join our community ranger John Attiwell, for a spot of gardening at our Thameside Nature Park, as great ships pass by on the River Thames. We will create and sow a ‘mini meadow’, discuss pollinator-friendly planting, and look at some of the ways we can create hibernacula for invertebrates and reptiles, and some other ways of welcoming pollinators and other wildlife into our gardens and community spaces.

Bring a sandwich and a flask as there will be a brief lunch break. Suitable for adults and families.

❗Toilets are available at the Discovery Park. For more details about site facilities, please visit the Thameside information page – you'll find the link in the address section, just below the event title.
