‘Wilder Communities’– working together for wildlife
Event Information
About this event
In order for nature to recover, we need many more people on nature’s side.
The science shows that if just one person in every four (25%) takes action, this can be enough to change the minds and behaviour of the majority – and make looking after nature a part of everyone’s daily life.
With your help, we can put nature into recovery, create more space for wildlife to thrive, and reduce the pressure on the environment.
This has to be a joint effort. We all have different skills, knowledge, and experience to offer.
We have been inspired by the number of groups and individuals already standing up and taking action for wildlife where they live. We want to help you with your mission and so we invite you to meet the new Wilder Communities team who will be talking about their ideas for empowering and supporting communities, like yours, to take action for wildlife.
But more importantly we want to hear from YOU! We want to listen to your ideas and feedback and understand your perspectives to help us shape our work going forward and how Devon Wildlife Trust can best support community action.
Together, we can create wilder communities across Devon.
