Wilderness Pioneers: Woodland carvings

Spend an afternoon with Wilderness Pioneers, who will teach you how to carve a cooking spatula or spoon with wood collected from Wytham Woods.
You will learn to about the properties of wood and how to use a woodland saw, axe and knife safely to carve yourself a cooking spatula which you will cherish and remember your time in the woods every time you cook with it. For the more adventurous you may be carving either a cooking or eating spoon.
Meet in the car park and dress for the outdoors.
Bring a cup if you would like hot drinks, we will supply teas and coffee and all equipment and materials.
