Join Botanist Brian Laney and the Sherbourne Valley Project Education & Training Officer Jen for a walk around Charterhouse Grounds to identify key plant and wildflowers. No previous knowledge necessary, this is very much a session for anyone with an interest in wildflowers! We would love people to go onto help us with our surveying of the flora in our project area.

Please be aware that there may be photography or videography at this event. If you have any issues with this, please make a team member and any individuals with a camera aware. It is worth noting however, that almost all of our events are in public spaces and we cannot control members of the public who may want to take photos.

Where do I park?

Charterhouse car park. Its a large car park available for Charterhouse visitors just off London Road (A4114) Sat Nav destination: CV1 2JR. Parking is payable after 1hr via RingGo App

Nearest public transport?

By bus You can jump on the X18 (Stagecoach bus) to Stratford from Stop TS2 near Sainsbury’s in Coventry city centre, arriving on London Road right by the entrance to Charterhouse (nearest stop – Acacia Avenue) in just 10 minutes. The X18 runs every 30 minutes.

Do I have to stay for the whole time?

No, feel free to come along to all or part of the event. Just make sure you have sign in and out.

What refreshments will be provided?

No refreshments will be available at this event

Where are the nearest toilets?

Inside the Charterhouse building.

What do I need to wear / bring with me?

Sturdy footwear/boots (wellies if recent rain as ground gets muddy), warm clothing (long sleeves/trousers are advised), insect repellent, sunscreen, drink, any medication that may be required during the session.
