Fri 21 July 2017, 10:00 – 15:00 BST
Sunflowers, daisies and dandelions are all related. As are carrots, parsley and hogweed.
This course will introduce simple and easy to remember techniques and guides to enable identification of some of the more common plant families. In doing so, you will be able to use this knowledge to identify wildflowers in any habitat anywhere in the world.
We will spend the morning indoors understanding the importance of plant families and beginning to learn what that means for identifying common wildflowers.
In the afternoon we will venture outdoors to further develop on these skills in the field.
Tea and Coffee will be provided. Please bring a packed lunch or use the cafe facilities on site.
