Join the Rangers, Outdoor & Woodland Learning Scotland (OWLS) and North East Biodiversity Partnership (NESBiP) on this RSPB event for some scything and wildflower seed collection workshops at Bawdley Head in Fraserburgh. Inspired by the wishes of local school children as part of the RSPB’s Nature Far Ye Bide initiative, and run in association with the James Hutton Institute, this community-focused event aims to:

• Raise awareness of local biodiversity

• Teach practical skills like seed collection and scything

• Encourage the planting of native wildflowers to support pollinators and wildlife

No prior experience with gardening or wildlife is necessary.

No dogs please.

Please bring waterproof clothing and wear sturdy footwear.

Please wear appropriate outdoor clothing.

Please bring sunhat and sun protection cream.

Please wear enclosed footwear.

Please bring a packed lunch including drink and snack.
