Held at the beautiful and tranquil Studio at 39, Suzy is offering a half day yoga retreat for people who wish to deepen their practice a little, and spend some time deeply releasing the body and settling the mind.
We emerge from the beautiful, stressful chaos of the festive season, to find ourselves still in Deep Winter, without anything to distract us. Let's lean into that, and use this time of long nights and Wintering to gently connect with deeper parts of ourselves. We can use this as a time to set a Sankalpa or intention for the year ahead, or simply to rest in the darkness and see what arises within us.
Regulars can expect a deeper, more immersive asana practice than a regular class. Not necessarily more physically challenging (unless you want to go there) but there will be intention setting with Wildheart Yoga's Sankalpa Cards, aromatherapy oils, season specific pranayama (breath work) practices and Suzy will support you to enter the beautiful stillness and peace of Yoga Nidra to complement your final Savasana practice.
This retreat is for anyone, but some yoga experience would be beneficial. The retreat is in the afternoon, and will hopefully send you into the rest of your weekend feeling refreshed, connected and a little more peaceful, grounded and restored.
There are just 10 places available.
Please bring a yoga mat and any equipment you like to use (if any) such as blocks, bricks, belts, bolsters and blankets. (All the 'b's!) We have some we can lend.
There will be herbal teas and fresh juices available at break time.
You will be asked to complete an information form prior to attending if you are not already registered with Wildheart Yoga.
Thank you and look forward to spending some deeply restorative time with you :)
