Description

A moderate walk over open downs, woodlands and chalk heath, taking in some notable habitats and cultural heritage features of the South Downs National Park. Paths are generally well surfaced throughout, but may be muddy and slippery in places in case of rain. Some moderately steep hills. There will be an opportunity to stop for lunch on the route.

Distance: 7 miles.

Parking: Pay and display car park (free to Eastborune residents displaying their Residents Leisure Card).

Start and finish: Butts Brow car park at the top of Butts Lane (grid reference TQ57990170.

Booking required.

Max number of walkers: 25.
