Event description
A talk by a member of the Country Watch Police Service about wildlife crime in Hampshire and the action taken to counteract this.

About this event

A talk by a member of the Hampshire Constabulary Country Watch service covering the types of wildlife crime committed in Hampshire and the actions of the Country Watch Police Service in counteracting them.

Hampshire Constabulary has Country Watch teams across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. Dedicated Country Watch officers work closely with rural communities to provide engagement, education and reassurance on the issues that matter most to them. The teams also identify and disrupt, through proactive operations, those who are intent on committing offences in rural areas. The main aims of Country Watch are to reduce rural crime, reassure rural residents and improve communication and engagement.
