Description

During this workshop we'll teach you techniques to attract beneficial wildlife into your garden or allotment and show you how you can evaluate your space's potential to give wildlife a home. The course will take place both inside and outside and each participant will go away with some free seeds.

Course leader Mark Patterson grew up in the Northeast and took an interest in nature and the environment from a young age. After studying ecology at University Mark has had a career spanning 17 years working for wildlife charities, local and national government and now works as a part time bee inspector for DEFRA whilst running his own business Api:Cultural.

After studying ecology at University Mark has had a career spanning 17 years working for wildlife charities, local and national government and now works as a part time bee inspector for DEFRA whilst running his own business Apicultural.

Mark is a trustee for the London Beekeepers Association, sits on the British Beekeepers Association special interest group on forage and leads on planting initiatives for pollinators in London.
