What we do
Identify and learn about wildlife. Carry out practical conservation tasks to improve habitats. Survey and monitor plants and animals. Garden for wildlife. Country crafts. Have fun!
Meeting Point: Tilgate Park, Tilgate Drive, Crawley, West Sussex RH10 5PQ
Drop off and collection of young people is at 10.00 and 14.00 respectively, at Tilgate Park.

Please aim to arrive 10 minutes prior to the start of the event for a prompt start and allow adequate time for traveling to and from the site, especially if you are not familiar with the area.
Other sites to be visited: Please avoid being late as we will be moving off promptly from the meeting point at 10am to other areas in the park where it may be difficult to find us.
What to bring: Please check the weather forecast. We will be outside come rain or shine and it is always a few degrees lower in the woods so wrap up warm and remember to bring the following:
- Personal hand sanitiser
- Packed Lunch/ a mug/ & Water bottle drink & snacks for your own use
- Long sleeved top and trousers (to help avoid scratches, stings or bites)
- Sturdy footwear & thick socks (work boots/walking boots/wellingtons)
- Medication if required
- Waterproof coat/Sun-tan lotion/insect repellent as required
