David Croucher leads us on a walk around the wild places of Taynuilt, on the shores of Loch Etive.
About this event
Taynuilt has many footpaths to explore and lots of varied wildlife. The spring flowers will be wonderful and birds should be singing. We will cover many different habitats which include Loch Etive, farmland, deciduous woodland and the River Awe. Generally the ground will be level on tracks with some stone and some grass which could be a little muddy. We will be passing the tearoom at Inverawe so a stop for a cuppa may well feature. (Bring some money and a mask.)
Booking is essential. Family friendly, but children must be with an adult. No dogs please. Wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear. The walk will finish at 1pm, but you may wish to bring a packed lunch.
Meet at Kelly's Pier (grid reference NN008322) on Loch Etive, near Bonawe, where there is limited parking. Overflow parking available.
