About this event

Family & Education • Education

Naomi from the Saving Scotland's Reds Squirrels project is joining us to share information and activities all about squirrels!

Hazlehead Park is just one of many sites covered by the project, which has been working to monitor and boost red squirrel numbers within Aberdeen.

Meet at the picnic benches next to Hazlehead Playground from 9:45, before we will walk around the park for the session and return to the benches for 12 midday.

Please only purchase tickets for the children attending - adults are welcome to stay. Children under 8 must be accompanied by a parent / guardian for the duration of the session.

Wildlife Watch is a volunteer-led service for children aged 8 to 12 years old, aiming to engage young people in the nature of their local area. All sessions are free to attend, and donations are appreciated!
