Event description

Description

Wildscreen and the University of Bristol's Centre for Environmental Humanities have teamed up to present a series of screenings, to bring stories from the natural world.

Chasing Coral

This award winning film was filmed over three years, with 500+ hours underwater, includes footage from over 30 countries, and was made with the support of over 500 people around the world.

Coral reefs around the world are vanishing at an unprecedented rate. A team of divers, photographers and scientists set out on a thrilling ocean adventure to discover why and to reveal the underwater mystery to the world.

Witness the tale of beauty, hope, and adventure that the New York Times calls an “emotional race against time”.

Wildscreen

Our goal is to convene the best photographers, filmmakers and creative professionals with the most committed conservationists to create compelling stories about the natural world; that inspire the wider public to experience it, feel part of it and protect it.

We are powered by an ecosystem of projects:
Wildscreen Arkive - the world’s leading online natural world encyclopaedia;
Wildscreen Exchange - A unique global hub that empowers conservation organisations by connecting them with world-leading filmmakers and photographers to create ground-breaking communications about our natural world.
Wildscreen Festival - the internationally renowned festival that celebrates and advances the art of natural world storytelling.
