About this event

Weaving with willow is an ancient craft. It has long been recognised as a sturdy, hardwearing and beautiful material with which to work.

On this one day course, learn the technique of willow weaving from local artist, Louise Arthur. You will create your own small basket with a handle that is perfect for collecting berries, eggs or simply displaying fruit.

This is a beginners course, but you will need some dexterity to finish this project. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact adult.learning@surreywt.org.uk before you book.
