Event description

Description

Join us at this friendly and fun workshop held in the 12th century Manor House at Burton Agnes, where you can weave a willow heart.

We’re delighted to welcome Leilah Vyner to our Autumn Festival, who will lead this workshop where you can craft a beautiful willow heart. This is a wonderful opportunity to immerse yourself in a traditional craft in this inspiring historic environment. A perfect project for beginners and children, no experience is needed to join in, and materials and tools are included.

Tea, coffee and homemade baking is included.

Maximum 12 participants.

Leilah’s workshop is part of Burton Agnes Hall’s Autumn Festival weekend; the workshop ticket includes free admission to the rest of the Festival.

Is the event accessible?

Regrettably, the workshop is not accessible to wheelchair users. It will be held on the upstairs level of a medieval manor house, which is accessible via a spiral stone staircase.

The grounds, walled gardens and woodland are accessible to wheelchair users. The shops and café in the courtyard are, too. We recommend that visitors use an outdoor wheelchair as some paths are gravelled (there’s one to borrow here). There is disabled parking in the main car park, and a disabled toilet with baby change facilities in the courtyard.

The Hall’s ground floor, which is included in the Autumn Festival, is wheelchair accessible.

How can I contact the organiser with any questions?
