Willow Wreath and Christmas Tree Workshop (ECC2806)

Under the tuition of 2 experienced basket makers, you will learn some basic skills and techniques of willow weaving whilst creating beautiful Christmas decorations for your home. In this workshop we’ll be focusing on learning how to use the flat weave technique to create Christmas Trees and also learning how to make a willow wreath for your door. We’ll be incorporating freshly harvested willow grown locally by the Suffolk Wildlife Trust.

This workshop is suitable for beginners, so no previous experience is necessary. However, some manual dexterity will be required and people with limited strength in their hands may find this weave tricky. All materials and tools will be provided. 

Tea and coffee will be provided during a short break in the workshop.
