Wills and Trusts for Special Needs

About this Event
Wills and Trusts for those with Special Needs:
A session aimed at parents and carers of those with special needs, explaining Wills and Trusts and how to use them to protect your family.
Many parents I meet for the first time simply aren’t aware that leaving money to a loved one with a learning disability can potentially cause so many problems. Choosing guardians can be difficult and knowing what the future holds is impossible.
As a parent to an autistic boy and a Chartered Financial Adviser I have put in place plans for my family which I want to share with you. My session includes tips, clear do's and dont's and issues that I'm sure will be of interest, if like I was, you are worried about what happens to your child when you are no longer here.
My sessions are jargon-free, aimed at educating and empowering parents to navigate their way through this minefield.
The writing of a will involved the referral to a service that is separate and distinct to those offered by St. James’s Place. Wills and Trusts are not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
Rhiannon Gogh Financial Planning is an Appointed Representative of and represents only St. James's Place Wealth Management plc (which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority) for the purpose of advising solely on the group's wealth management products and services, more details of which are set out on the group's website www.sjp.co.uk/products.
