Description
WILPF is a feminist peace- focused campaigning organisation, run entirely by volunteers. Every year we hold a seminar which all UK WILPF members are invited to, as well as our friends from other organisations and anyone else interested in our work. We try to make the event as sociable as well as educational.
This year, we are holding our seminar on 25 November, and it will be a combination of key note speakers and group discussions and workshops. The theme of our 2017 seminar is 'Voices of Refugee Women', and our aim is to raise awareness and show solidarity with refugee women.
The £10 ticket for the seminar includes lunch and refreshments throughout the day.
We are keen for our event to be inclusive, and so we are happy to provide help with expenses if you require this. The venue also has disabled access. Please contact ukwilpf.peace@gmail.com for more information.
