The Wiltshire Business Club is coming back. Did you even know we had gone away?
As many will know the business club held regularly monthly meetings from its inception up until June 2015. A couple of reasons why it stopped? The meetings had gone a bit stale in terms of format and attendance. Also, Roland and I found our time limited in time to dedicate to promotion.
However, we are always being asked to bring it back - so that is what we are doing!
Our host venue will be the New Inn at Coate. It has a great function room, does some fantastic food, serves amazing beer (if you wish to partake) and has sufficient parking.
We are focussing on making it a useful and attractive opportunity for learning. We will be having a guest speaker that will talk on a business topic. This meeting we will have Steven Healey presenting. Steven is an expert in 'blabbing'. Blabbing is the newest in the live video market. It is a great promotional tool that can be used for your business and Steven will tell us how it works. Check out our facebook page to see previous blabs hosted by the Wilts Biz Club.
We will also be retaining our introductions round. When we sit down to eat every person in attendance gets a chance to do their 'Elevator pitch' 40-60 seconds to introduce you, tell us about your business, ask about connections you are looking to make or events that you have upcoming. It is a fabulous opportunity for you to get to know the other people in the room.
We will no longer have the 1 to 1's as an enforced part of the meeting but will set up a 1 to 1 area where you can take the opportunity to speak to members on a 1 to 1 basis if you wish during the opening networking elements.
The meeting will start at 6.00, sit down to eat around 6.30 and the guest speaker at around 7.00. In between this section will be open networking, with the opportunity to use the 1 to 1 areas. The meeting will formally finish at 7.30 and of course, the bar is open for those that wish to continue.
The cost of the meeting is £12.50 and this includes the Hot buffet that is served. (Please let us know if there are any dietary requirements). There will also be teas and coffees available throughout.
You can bring along any banners, brochures/ flyers and of course plenty of business cards. We will have a bumf table where you can put all of these.
