Please join us for the next Wiltshire Connecting People Network an online networking workshop on Thursday 23 October 2025 at 10am - 11:30am.

The aim of this Funder+ networking workshop is to bring organisations together, from across Wiltshire, who have an interest in or provide day to day activities that connect people and address loneliness.

This networking workshop will provide the opportunity to learn and share how the voluntary sector is collaborating and responding to help people connect and re-connect in our communities to improve wellbeing.

We aim for discussion sessions to be timely, themes will be considered and shared nearer the time - if you have ideas for discussion topics or speakers you'd like to hear from, please let us know!

The Network's focus is on discussion, sharing, learning and networking.

To enable as many groups to participate as possible, we ask one person per organisation please. If you have any queries or you’re interested, but unable to join the workshop on please contact Margaret Firth – margaret.firth@wiltshirecf.org.uk .

During registration we will ask if you are happy to have your name, organisation and email address shared with other attendees, if you agree we will include your details in the attendee list to aid networking.

This initiative is a continuation of Wiltshire Community Foundation's Loneliness Uncovered project which was supported by the Department of Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and the National Lottery Community Fund (TNLCF)

Wiltshire Community Foundation is an independent and largest grant giving charity in Wiltshire and Swindon. We exist to tackle disadvantage and strengthen local communities by inspiring philanthropy and supporting the voluntary sector. Our mission is to maximise the impact of charitable activity by connecting people, information and resources.

Each year we award over £1million through hundreds of grants to enable more local people to thrive. Our grants to grassroots voluntary and community groups ensure funding is targeted where it is needed most, tackling the most pressing local issues and building stronger communities. Through our individual grants programme we give grants to young people to help improve their development, education and future employment.

We also provide a range of events, training workshops and advice sessions for the voluntary and community sector helping to build skills, capacity, knowledge and networks.
