About this event

Join us for a practical, forward-looking day exploring how farmers can build resilience to climate change. Hosted by LEAF (Linking Environment And Farming) in partnership with HSBC, this event brings together farmers, advisors, researchers, and finance professionals to share tools, insights, and real-world examples of climate adaptation in action.

Kingsplay Farming Company Ltd is a forward-thinking, mixed farming business run by Lucy and Nick Tyler in the Wiltshire countryside. With a strong focus on sustainable food production, the farm combines a 450–500 cow dairy herd, Wagyu cross beef, and arable cropping to support a closed-loop system that feeds livestock and builds soil health.

What to expect

Expert insights: Learn from UK CEH climate scientists, HSBC specialists, and LEAF on the latest climate modelling, carbon audits, and financial planning tools.

On-farm learning: Take part in a guided farm walk, with stops focused on soil health, cover crops, hedgerow and habitat creation, and Integrated Farm Management in practice.

Farmer-led discussions: Hear directly from farmers and advisors on how they are adapting to climate risks and building resilience in their businesses.

Networking opportunities: Connect with fellow farmers, agronomists, researchers, finance experts, and supply chain partners.
