Winchester Christmas Market Day Trip

Inspired by the traditional German Christmas market, Winchester Cathedral’s Christmas Market is a delightful mix of Christmas gift stalls, decorations and festive foods. Join Hugh, Rebs, and Julian for a truly festive experience in a beautiful part of the country.

Meet at GSA building at 9.45am. If you are not there when we leave at 10am, you are welcome to make your own way by train as we will not be waiting for latecomers. From here we will travel by minibus (without a stop) which takes about an hour. You can visit the Christmas market, the street market, shops, and park. In the afternoon, there is an optional guided tour of the city. There are plenty of places to eat and drink but they will be very busy. Wear very warm, waterproof clothing as it will be cold and you could be outside a lot. We will aim to be back in Guildford by 6.30pm.
