Event description

The Wind Farm Control Trials (WFCT) is a Demowind funded collaborative project between 10 European partners investigating the optimisation of overall windfarm performance through advanced control mechanisms and testing the strategies at an operational windfarm.

In this workshop you will hear from three of the technical partners in the project; ECN, Frazer Nash and DTU who will describe the technical aspects of the optimisation strategies, the LiDAR measurement campaign and the modelling activities.

In addition we will have external speakers from NREL and DNV-GL and the CLWindCon discussing projects investigating advanced control of windfarms.

The objectives of the workshop are to disseminate information on the WFCT project, to learn from other projects and attendees, encourage discussion and to obtain feedback on our proposed approach.
