Relay Format

The event is a relay format and for teams of two, with each team member taking turns to complete a one kilometre lap until each has run 5 laps (and therefore a total distance of 10km for the team). The running surface is a mixture of grass, woodland trail and footpaths, away from roads and entirely traffic free.

Entry Details

The race entry fee is £10 per team of two, where both runners are registered with England Athletics (EA), £12 where only one runner is registered with EA, and £14 where neither runner has an EA registration.

Only one entry per pair is needed (although we'd be grateful if you can provide us with details of both runners) and the minimum age for entry is 11 years.

Prizes

There will be prizes for winning and runner's up pairs in the Ladies, Men's and Mixed Categories.

We are delighted to share the news that the proceeds from this year's event will be donated to Windle Valley Runner's chosen charity which is: White Lodge "Help Our Hydro" appeal. White Lodge provides services and support to enable those with a range of disabilities, their families and carers to lead fulfilling lives

White Lodge are fundraising for the refurbishment of the only hydrotherapy pool in North Surrey. Having access to this wonderful resource offers support to nearly 500 children and adults with disabilities and the benefits are life changing. The pool allows a variety of therapy and rehabilitation programmes that improve movement and flexibility to palliative care to help with pain relief and relaxation.
