Windrush Day 2025: A Tapestry of Caribbean Cultures
Roots and Routes across the Caribbean to Greater Manchester 

This year’s Windrush Day brings the community together to honour the legacy, resilience, and cultural impact of the Windrush generation.

We will revisit the powerful stories, journeys, and traditions that have shaped Caribbean culture in Greater Manchester. Stories that, 77 years on, continue to inspire generations today.

What's on:

  •  Live performances and entertainment  
  • Cultural displays and artistic exhibitions  
  • Free health checks and screenings with Caribbean & African health professionals 
  •  Children's play area with activities connecting young people to their heritage 
  • Football Match 
  • Local stallholders showcasing products and services that bridge our cultures 

We're also honoured to welcome key civic leaders and community leaders on the main stage. 

When: Saturday 21st June, 12pm - 6pm 
Where: Alexandra Park, Manchester (180 Russell Street, Manchester, M16 7JL) 
Cost: Completely FREE for everyone
