About this event

Come and celebrate the legacy and contributions of the Caribbean community in Britain at the Windrush Tea Party on the 21st June at Museum Square at New Walk from 12-9PM

This event will have an equipped stage with musical guests and special performers, food and cultural stalls for shopping, a kids activity space, a dominoes corner, and plenty of space for you all to relax and enjoy the day!


There is also a Caribbean infused High Tea available for £30 per person. Here, in your own sheltered area of the square, we will provide you with a classic High Tea service with a Caribbean twist. With unlimited access around the sqaure and your own space to rest and refresh, all you have to do is sit back and absorb the atmosphere around you!


This open event will have you all dancing and laughing in the gold June sun, with a belly full of food to make you feel irie!

Is there an entry free?

General admission to the square is free but High Tea service is £30 per person. All attendees will have access to the stalls, activity spaces, and stage.

You do not need a ticket to enter the event. You will require tickets for the High Tea service.
