The 70.20.10 framework is a new model being used by an increasing number of organisations across the world to meet the challenges of breakthrough performance and exploit learning beyond the classroom. Recent studies have shown that organisations using this model to support learning in the flow of work are:
- 4x more likely to report that they are responding faster to business change
- 3x more likely to report an improvement in staff motivation
- 2x more likely to report an increase in customer satisfaction
However, 70.20.10 does not come easily. It requires the application of new skills and new mindsets. 70.20.10 changes the focus from learning to performance, from ‘push’ to ‘pull’, and from an exclusive focus on knowledge and skills to one that also included building winning attitudes and behaviours.
During this session Charles Jennings will explain how the model can have its greatest impact and engage participants in discussion about the opportunities and challenges they might face when using 70.20.10. He will present examples of some organisations that are successfully using 70.20.10 – including well-known brands such as Citibank, Coca-Cola, Adidas, Danone, American Express and other corporate and government organisations.

He specialises in strategic consultancy helping clients with challenges particularly in the areas of the 70:20:10 Framework, Change Management, Performance Improvement and Leadership Development.
Charles has more than 35 years’ experience in the fields of strategic performance improvement and capability building including seven years as the Chief Learning Officer for Reuters and Thomson Reuters where he had responsibility for developing company-wide strategy and leading a 350-strong team of learning professionals for the firm’s 55,000 workforce. He is a co-founder of the 70:20:10 Institute and a director of the Internet Time Alliance.
