Aims
To provide relevant information to local Rodericks Dentists about accessing Orthodontic Care for their patients.
Objectives
• Be familiar with the IOTN system and using that classification determine the IOTN of any patient who may need or desire orthodontic treatment
• Be able to determine which patients qualify for NHS orthodontic treatment and to be able to refer them using the online FDS system
• Be aware that referrals can be made to Windsor Dental for cases who do not qualify for NHS orthodontic treatment and wish to have treatment on a private basis and also for those that do qualify for NHS treatment but do not wish to wait on a lengthy waiting list.

Aims
To provide relevant information to local Rodericks Dentists about accessing and managing complex invisalign cases.
• How to access if the invisalign case is too complex for them to treat
• Be aware that referrals can be made to Windsor Dental for cases who do not qualify for invisalign go and examples of complex cases Andre can accept referrals for.
Manpreet Kahlon
Aims to discuss what is a difficult root treatment.
• How dentists can treat patients for RCT at practice and how to refer to a specialist if needed.
• Cover what complex endodontic cases he can accept referrals for.
Hannah Wynne
• Discussing complex Extractions, wisdom teeth, orthodontic extractions etc.
• How to manage patients needing complex extractions
• And information needed on referral for minor oral surgery cases.
Amit Mistry
• What is an implant.
• Who is suitable for an implant
• How to refer patients
• What complex treatments Amit can complete.
Shilpa Shah
• IV sedation techniques.
• Under 18s sedation cases
• Information on the process of accessing a patient referral for sedation.
• What’s needed in the referral process.
• How Shilpa and her sedation team work and support the patient and clinicians.
