Come along and learn all about South African wines with a wine expert - Stephanie's Wine Society.

I am WSET qualified and I teach about wine for a living.

I will teach you how to taste wine and guide you through 3 South African wines all from Waitrose!

I will explain all about South African wines, the regions, grapes grown and wine history, along with how to match up wines to your favourite foods!

We will taste the wines alongside some optional cheese and food matches (details below)

To join the Zoom tasting:

Please purchase in advance the below 3 South African wines all from Waitrose.

The wines are available in-store or online via Waitrose or Waitrose Cellar.

Then purchase your tasting ticket via Eventbrite for £15 to receive a link for one device/household to connect to the Zoom tasting.

Wine 1 (white): Waitrose Blueprint Fairtrade Chenin Blanc @ £6.99 per bottle

Wine 2 (red): Stellenrust Old Bush Vine Cinsault @ £9.99 per bottle. Currently on offer @ £7.49 per bottle until 06/04/21

Wine 3 (red): Journey's End Sir Lowry Cabernet Sauvignon @ £14.99 per bottle. Currently on offer @ £10 per bottle until 06/04/21

Foods to taste alongside the wines will be: Goats cheese, Gruyere, an extra mature Cheddar and some beef Biltong or Jerky!

We will finish off with a fun wine quiz!
