The evening is being jointly organised by the Bristol Bordeaux Partnership and the Bristol Hannover Council, to mark the 75th Anniversaries of the 1947 twinings between Bristol and our partner cities in France and Germany.

We'll be marking the start of these direct links between cities and citizens, established just two years after the second world war.

We expect to be joined by several Bristol civic, commercial and cultural leaders for what should be a memorable evening reflecting on 75 years of twinning and its contribution to our vision of a Europe at peace.

The evening will be hosted by Mimi Avery, who's planning to offer us a themed range of French, German and English wines.

The evening will include a tutored tasting of 7 wines, including fine wines, and artisan bread, cheese and pâté from local suppliers.
