About The Author

Julian Hitch is a globally renowned martial artist, author, speaker and coach.

Julian has spent 25 years pushing the boundaries of what’s possible – and helping tens of thousands of people to do the same.

Julian is the co-author of the best-selling book ‘Winning not Fighting – Why you need to rethink success and how you achieve it with the Ancient Art of Wing Tsun.” Written with John Vincent, co-founder of Leon Restaurants, it shows how they grew Leon from £10million to £100 million, created a 45% compound growth and expanded from 17-71 restaurants in just over 5 years. As Director of Well-Being Julian also created a multi-award winning well-being programme.

Julian began his career by studying Wing Tsun Kung Fu aged 15. By 17 he was teaching and quickly became the youngest ever teacher to open a school in the UK, opening his first school 3 months before his A-Levels. He went on to be the youngest ever 5th Degree Blackbelt in his art aged only 24. He is a Guinness World Record Holder and has degrees in History and Law. He was awarded a scholarship by the Honourable Society of Gray’s Inn. Following a catastrophic injury, which shattered part of his spine, and broke his pelvis and hand, he made an almost miraculous recovery without pain killers or surgery.

As a high-performance consultant and coach, Julian works with companies, founders and CEOs to take their success to the next level. His clients include Special Forces Units, Oxford University, Giff Gaff, Warner Music and Dell along with global sporting icons, pop-stars and UHNW individuals. Julian’s teachings were called by The Daily Telegraph ‘A new paradigm for business’ and was named as one of the top business influencers by Stylus.

Julian is an international keynote speaker and has featured in media across the world including Forbes, BBC, Sky, FT, History Channel and Management Today. He has also appeared in numerous documentaries including Ancient Black Ops: Ismaili Assassins and Ancient Black Ops: the Kung Fu Nun.
