About this Event

Begin 2020 feeling inspired and energised by attending our ' Winning through Wellbeing in 2020 - an alternative approach to student success' event. We seek to connect teachers and educators with innovative professionals and organisations who can support teachers and/or equip students with the skills and knowledge which promotes student wellbeing and removes any barriers to success.

Starting with a panel discussion identifying issues which impact on student performance and exploring potential solutions, including how partnerships between schools and external organisations can successfully remove barrier to learning so students can fulfil their personal potential in 2020.

Panel Members

Our panellists represent a diverse range of fields including academia and research, youth work and education giving insight into the real-life experiences, successes and challenges of support student wellbeing and success. The panel discussion will be followed by a short Q&A session.

Dr. Michelle Hunter - Student Mental Health. Chartered Principle Psychologist and Behavioural Scientist/Senior Lecturer at Roehampton University.

James Aidoo - Building Resilience through coaching for students and staff teams. Award winning Youth Practitioner and Innerscope Founder.

Patrick Foster - Online Gaming and Gambling Awareness. Previously a teacher in the independent sector and now the Education Manager at Epic Risk Management.

Rommell Wallace - Employability, Life Skills and Industry Partnerships. Co-Founder of SAY (Serious About Youth) who deliver innovative, interactive and effective youth-focused employability and life skills training.
