WINS Abertawe Yn Dod At Eu Gilydd

Siarad go-iawn, Ardrawiad go-iawn guda menywod yn gweithio dros bobl, pwrpas a'r planed.

Welcome to our very first WINS Meet Up Swansea!

Join us at Urban HQ on September 25, 2025 at 5:00 PM for an evening filled with friendly networking and learning.

You may, or may not, have sustainability in your job title but if you're taking action to make Swansea a greener, healthier and happier place, this is for you!

Hosted by Rhian Sherrington, founder and head coach of the thriving Women in Sustainability Network, you can expect to meet impact-led women from across the city and expand your knowledge. There'll be some light touch facilitation to get you all talking to one another, so expect to come away inspired with some brilliant new connections that support your work or business.

Don't miss this opportunity to grow your circle and gain valuable insights.

The event is free to attend but you do need to register as space is limited and we ask that you buy a drink or two from the Cafe bar to support the venue (wine, beer, alcohol free, tea/ coffee are all available ).

Supported by Urban HQ. Funded by the UK Government through the Shared Prosperity Fund.

Cyfarfod WINS Abertawe

Siarad ystyrlon – gyda menywod yn gweithio dros bobl, lle a’r blaned

Croeso i Gyfarfod WINS Abertawe!

Ymunwch â ni yn yr Urban HQ ar 25 Medi 2025 am 5pm am noson addysgiadol fydd yn llawn rhwydweithio cyfeillgar.

Efallai fod ‘cynaliadwyedd’ yn rhan o deitl eich swydd, neu efallai ddim, ond os ydych chi’n gweithio i wneud Abertawe yn lle gwyrddach, iachach a hapusach, yna dyma’r digwyddiad i chi!

Cynhelir y digwyddiad gan Rhian Sherrington, sylfaenydd a phrif hyfforddwr y Rhwydwaith Menywod mewn Cynaliadwyedd (WINS) ffyniannus. Dewch i gwrdd â menywod sy’n cael eu harwain gan effaith o bob cwr o'r ddinas ac i ehangu eich gwybodaeth. Bydd rhywfaint o hwyluso ‘ysgafn’ i'ch annog i siarad â'ch gilydd, felly byddwch yn barod i gael eich ysbrydoli gydag ambell gysylltiad newydd fydd yn cefnogi eich gwaith neu’ch busnes.

Peidiwch â cholli'r cyfle hwn i dyfu eich cylch a chael safbwyntiau gwerthfawr.

Digwyddiad rhad ac am ddim fydd hwn, ond bydd angen ichi gofrestru gan fod lle yn gyfyngedig. Gofynnwn ichi hefyd brynu diod neu ddwy o far y caffi i gefnogi’r lleoliad (bydd gwin, cwrw, diod ddialcohol, te/coffi ar gael)

Frequently asked questions

Can I park my car/ bike near by and what about access via public transport?

If you are cycling, there is under cover cycle parking on Orchard Street just by the building. Swansea Train Station is 5 mins walk away. Check out the bus times on https://www.swansea.gov.uk. Car drivers can park either at the NCP car park on Orchard Street or at Swansea Train Station car park.

What should I expect?

A friendly crowd of women who want to meet you ! At a WINS Meet Up we ensure everyone feels welcomed. Through our lightly facilitated approach, we ensure everyone meets one another in a genuine way. This is all about conversations and connections & we're here to make that easy for you to do!

I'm a man, can I still attend?

Ah, no. We feel that as the Women in Sustainability Network our in person events are just for women, those who identify as women and non-binary. That's because with over 10 years of running the WINS Network, we know conversations with just women in the room allow for deeper connections.

Do I have to be working in sustainability to attend?

We'd love you to come along if you are currently working in some way that will tackle the Sustainability Development Goals (SDGs), or if you're thinking about a career transition into something that makes a difference to people and planet. On a maternity break, in education or training? All welcome
