Discover the most popular craft fair in the region.

About this event

Come and enjoy two mini editions featuring over 50 different stalls each day from some of the region's best independent artists, designers, and makers.

Pop along with your friends and family to shop for creative crafts, contemporary design and artisanal food at affordable prices.

You’ll be able to find everything from cards, photography, ceramics and prints, to jewellery, homewares, textiles and handmade beauty products.

During your visit you can explore Liverpool Cathedral, a Grade I architectural wonder and the largest cathedral in the UK and fifth largest in the world.

And don’t miss the Welsford Bistro where you can choose from a great selection of hot food, homemade cakes and cookies, plus a wide choice of hot and cold beverages.

Please note that this event is socially distanced. Wearing a face covering helps keep you, our staff and other visitors safe. Although it's not compulsory, we'd encourage you to wear one when you visit us unless you are medically exempt. You’re advised to book your tickets in advance to avoid disappointment. There will also be a limited number of walk-up tickets available for each timeslot during the day.

The last entry to the Winter Arts Market is 16:15 each day.

Before the Winter Arts Market

  • If you are unable to attend or your party size has decreased, please cancel your ticket as soon as possible through your Eventbrite account.
  • If you’re feeling unwell, in a high-risk category, self-isolating or if you or anyone you’ve been in contact with has symptoms of coronavirus, please stay at home and cancel your ticket.


  • Your attendance means a lot to us. If you change your mind, or you can’t join us please request a refund through your Eventbrite account up to 24 hours before the start of the event. You can also transfer your ticket to a friend or loved one. This will help us run a successful event and prevent no-shows, so we really appreciate it!

What you need to do when you attend the Winter Arts Market

  • Please do not arrive more than five minutes before your ticket time.
  • You may need to queue outside our building. Please make sure you're prepared for the British weather!
  • Sanitise your hands on your way into the Cathedral.
  • You’re encouraged to wear a face-covering while you’re in the Cathedral.
  • Once you’re inside the Cathedral a member of our staff will explain the one-way system. Please follow the route to keep yourself and others safe.
  • You can visit our Welsford Bistro and Cathedral Shop during your visit.
  • You’ll need to allow 60 to 90 minutes or so for your visit to the Winter Arts Market. Once you have finished your visit, please leave the Cathedral, so that we can let other visitors in to enjoy the event too.
  • Limited onsite parking is available. Pay at the machine stations in the car park with cash or card before you leave.

Please note - if for any reason we need to cancel this event or if you are unable to attend, you will be refunded the price of your ticket minus the Eventbrite booking fee.

Organizer Liverpool Cathedral

Organizer of Winter Arts Market - Friday 3rd December 2021

The largest cathedral in the UK and fifth largest in the world, Liverpool Cathedral is entirely self-funded through its enterprise activities and fundraising efforts, which in turn help keep the Cathedral free to enter. It does not receive any public or government money.

It hosts the largest pipe organ in the United Kingdom, with 10,268 pipes. The Vestey Tower standing an impressive 154m above the River Mersey, making Liverpool Cathedral one of the imposing features of the Liverpool skyline. Built by the people for the people to the glory of God, it strives daily to maintain its visitor and missional status in the city and beyond.
