Improve your bird identification skills as we walk the beautiful Alaw estuary.

We'll spend the first part of the walk looking at and identifying birds before walking along the Alaw estuary where large numbers of waders and wildfowl come to spend the winter. It is likely to be muddy so wellies and warm clothing are advised.

Wellies and warm clothing are advised. Bring a hot drink, picnic and binoculars if you have them. We will bring a couple of telescopes for closer up viewing.

The event organiser speaks conversational Welsh, please feel free to use Welsh or English during this event.

No dogs.

Meeting point: Gorad road Valley (small parking area opposite the flooded field by Warmer Brothers woodburner shop). What3Wordswidth.jump.amid
