Winter Camp 2021 (Juniors)

With funding from the Government's Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Scheme, provided via Manchester City Council and managed by MCRactive, Families Against Violence and Claremont Youth Project are running a Winter Camp. It will run for 4 days before Christmas (Monday 20th to Thursday 23rd December) and then on Wednesday 29th and Thursday 30th December. It is aimed at 6 to 11-year-old children living in Moss Side, Fallowfield, Hulme and Rusholme who are entitled to free school meals. The programme will feature football-based fitness, skills and games and some classroom work. All participants will be provided with a hot lunch. The event is free.

The same coaches who successfully ran our Summer Camp and Half Term Camp will again be involved.

Platt Lane Sports Complex will host the event for the first 4 days and the physical activities will take place in the 'Dome' so the weather will not be an issue. The venue for the final two days is not yet confirmed but it will definitely be a local sports facility.

If you want to register your child for all 6 days, 'purchase' solely the 'All weeks, all days' ticket. If you want to register for individual days, 'purchase' tickets for the relevant days.

If you want to register more than one child, you need to order a ticket for each child but only register the details for one child. Then email events@fav-uk.org with the details of the other children. We will send you a confirmatory email.
