Energising Yoga and Vibrant Eating
January is a good time of the year to focus on detoxification in relation to both our body and our mind. The yoga sequences will concentrate on lots of deep cleansing twists and purifying breath exercises to ring ourselves out physically, emotionally and energetically. The final part of the yoga class will focus on hip openers, in a restorative style which holds poses longer than usual. Our hips often store excess stagnant energy and this helps to intensify the cleansing process.
Once you've cleansed and purified the body you'll find three delicious plant-based courses waiting for you. We'll be serving up fresh, delicious, hearty plant-based foods (no animal products) - perfect for post-yoga. Rowena is a certfiied Food For Life Instructor with the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine so all of the food that we showcase is designed to maximise health and wellbeing. Think calming soups, hearty salads and nourishing dishes.
You may be a complete beginner in Yoga or new to plant-based food, or perhaps you’ve dabbled in both, either way, this half Day Retreat will allow you to experience the powerful combination of cleansing foods and Yoga in the heart of the city.
