About this event

Join illustrator, printmaker and storyteller Halina Isherwood for a winter themed lino printing workshop. Draw upon creative ideas from festive symbols and seasonal imagery to produce your own special design. You’ll then transform your artwork into a lino stamp to create beautiful hand-printed Christmas cards, gift tags, or wrapping paper – and take your stamp home for more creations! Halina will guide you through the whole process, so no previous experience is required and the workshop is designed to be accessible and enjoyable for all.

Halina Isherwood is a Mancunian artist based in Levenshulme. She trained at Manchester school of Art as a printmaker and illustrator, and her work is inspired by folklore, fairy tales and landscape – both home and afar. She utilises traditional methods of printmaking, gathered on her travels through India and creates her unique range of prints, clothing and décor.
