Description

In conjunction with Cheshire East Council, Youth Fed are offering a three-day course (18 hours) on the topic of Mental Health Awareness and is designed for those working within the Youth Work Sector. The topics covered are:

  • Anxiety, Stress, Depression
  • Body Image & Eating Disorders
  • Drug & Substance Abuse
  • Self Esteem & Confidence
  • Self Harm & Suicide
  • Bullying/CyberBullying
  • Mental disorders & difficulties
  • Healthy Lifestyle & Healthy Eating
  • Mindfulness
  • What to do.. support services

Please note this is a three-day course:

Day One: Thursday 9th November (Day One)

Day Two: Thursday 7th December (Day Two)

Day Three: Thursday 18th January (Day Three)

Learners will receive a Youth Fed certificate at the end of the course as recognition.

Learners must be: Over 19 years of age (please contact Mike Jones at Youth Fed directly (contact details below) as exclusions may be applicable) Living and working within Cheshire East Working in a youth work sector (due to the nature of the course)

Hot and cold drinks will be provided. Lunch is not provided so please ensure you have made arrangements.

Please arrive at least 15mins early for a prompt 9:30am start. Course ends 4:30pm each day.
