Join us at Sussex Prairies Wild for a hands-on workshop on how to prepare herbal remedies for the winter season! Our experienced herbalist will guide you through the process, sharing tips and tricks for creating effective remedies to keep you healthy all winter long. We will make oxymels, fire cider, and salves to take home along with the recipes. Don't miss this opportunity to stock up on natural remedies and boost your immune system for the chilly months ahead!

Your ticket gives you access to the prairie gardens (until 5pm) so do bring a packed lunch if you want to explore after the workshop.

Directions - please drive round and park next to the Dutch Barn, where the owners live. If you are coming from Henfield, drive past the main entrance to the Sussex Prairie Garden, drive 100m and turn first right at the end of the woods into a private lane (signed Dutch Barn) (next to a white house on the bend called Swallows ) Drive 50 yards. You'll see an inshot next to a wooden barn on the right, park there and come in through the small wooden gate . If you get lost you can call Pauline (the owner) on her mobile 07543667894. We will be there to let you in!

Refreshments - there will be complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits for the duration of the workshop.

What to wear - dress appropriately for the weather, wear warm clothes and sturdy footwear if visiting the garden.
