What is Conscious Connected Breathwork?

Conscious Connected Breathwork (CCB) involves deep rhythmic breathing which can allow you to enter non-normal states of consciousness. Breathing this way quietens your chatterbox, egoic, constant internal narrative, forcing your conscious mind to kind of take a wander and giving space to your subconscious to go and explore. You can go on euphoric journeys, release emotions you’ve been holding on to or not felt safe to confront, or simply come out of the session feeling an overwhelming sense of bliss. It’s an amazing practice with profound mental and physical benefits, including mental clarity, reduced stress, better emotional regulation and enhanced respiratory function - one of the biggest predictors of longevity.

Combining the practice with movement gives the body a complete service, providing a wholly restorative wellbeing event and ending the day with a beautifully crafted lunch is the icing on the cake.

Meet Your Hosts - Danny, Tiri & Kat

Heyyyyy people I'm Danny. 9-5 I slog it in corporate working as a trader but CANNOT wait until I build up this side of my life up enough to sustain a living. I was absolutely blown away on a month-long breathwork teacher training in South Africa and have since made it my mission (sounds very gradiose) to introduce as many people as possible to the practice... it's truly life-changing. Other fun facts: I hold a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, I have a masters in Chemical Engineering and in October I'm heading to Kings to study a masters in Neuroscience and Psychology of the Mind-Body Interface. I had asthma as a kid and having also competed to a high level in football I'm honestly baffled it took 32 years to learn the importance of correct breathing. I also run a men’s brand/wellness community, BANF Collective.

----------------------------------

Hola chicas. I'm Tiri and I've been teaching yoga for eight years, mixing Eastern and Western philosophies to keep things balanced and fun. My vinyasa flows are dynamic and uplifting, while the yin sessions are all about slowing down and resetting. I've always been fascinated by the power of breath, and after discovering Conscious Connected Breathwork (CCB) in India I never looked back. Me and Danny run breathwork circles across London, helping people tap into their breath for clarity, calm, and deep transformation.

----------------------------------

Hello Beauties, I’m Kathryn. Almost 4 years ago during lockdown, I had the crazy idea of opening a community-focused cafe and bar in London. In March 2021 we opened The Nest in Barnes, where my vision was to create a space for my staff and customers to enjoy simultaneously, while investing in the local community. I’ve always hated going for food where the small portions leave you hungry and unsatisfied. Food is my passion and my obsession! I always aim to have people feeling cosy, comfortable, and full of delicious home-cooked food (with some exciting twists along the way!)

We host monthly Supper Clubs, that showcase my love of world cuisine, with focus on flavours of Latin America, Asia and the Middle East. Over the years, we have had the pleasure of catering for a vast number of events, from Weddings and birthdays, to Festivals and Retreats. I’m a big believer that Healthy food doesn’t have to be boring, and i love nothing more than cooking wholesome and nourishing food, that is full of colour, texture and flavour to fill your tummies!

Frequently asked questions

Can I practice breathwork?

Almost everyone can practice. You don't need special clothes or equipment. Just the curiosity to explore and a willingness to step every so slightly out of your comfort zone. We do have a health and safety form everyone must complete before attending, which will emailed out on booking.

What do I need to bring?

• Loose fitting comfortable clothes • Water bottle • Paper and pen • A great attitude

Can I eat beforehand?

This type of breathwork (Conscious Connected Breathwork) needs to be done on an empty stomach, so don’t eat anything for 2 hours beforehand. Black coffee/tea is bless as is water. Try not to be hungover as you’ll just sit there spinning out

I have dietary requirements, will I be able to eat?

All food will be vegan, gluten free, and exquisitely prepared. We're aware the last point isn't a dietary requirement but it's important none-the-less
