• If you are taking anti-depressants or any other medication
• You have a heart condition as cacao increases the blood flow to the brain and heart by at least 40%
• If you are pregnant

Is Blue Lotus safe to drink?

Accepted Answer

Blue lotus should not be consumed by pregnant or breastfeeding mothers. If you are taking any medication it is always best to seek advice from an appropriate medical professional before consuming.

What do I need to bring?

Accepted Answer

Bring a yoga mat and blanket so you can lie comfortably on the floor. Breathwork can cause fluctuations in temperature so you may get cold.  Water to drink and a book and pen for journaling any insights.

Do I need to follow any preparation guidelines.

Accepted Answer

It advisable not to eat a heavy meal beforehand and if you can safely fast for a few hours it will allow the energy of the cacao and blue lotus to work on a deeper level. Wear loose comfortable clothing that you can breathe and move in easily.

I’ve never done conscious connected breathwork before what do I need to know?

This style of breathing is an open mouthed connected breath that helps facilitate deep emotional release and can induce an altered state of consciousness which opens a portal for profound insights.

Is CCB safe and do you offer an alternative?

Accepted Answer

Conscious connected breathwork is contraindicated if you have heart or lung conditions, glaucoma or detached retina, epilepsy, high or low blood pressure, severe psychiatric disorders or are in early or delicate pregnancy. An alternative style of breathing will be shown on the night.
