Winter Solstice: Slow Flow Yoga and Sound Workshop
Overview
An extra special, 2 hour nurturing afternoon curated by Emma and Vanessa in honour of the Winter Solstic - the longest night of the year. Traditionally a sacred time for reflection, release and renewal.
The Winter Solstice is the perfect time to inwardly reflect, and start to unburden ourselves from the baggage we carry around day to day. As we ready ourselves for the inflection point of the New Year, this is an opportunity to step back and create space for that inner peace which is sometimes so hard to find time for.
This slow flow yoga and sound retreat invites you to move gently, breathe deeply and reconnect with your inner rhythm in honour of the Solstice. With the power of a slow flow yoga sequence, followed by deep rest in sound to rebalance and rejuvate your energy.
What to expect:
- Gentle, slow flow yoga suitable for all levels
- Guided breathwork and yoga nidra
- A soundbath journey to calm the mind and open the heart - two gongs, singing bowls, chimes and and other percusssion instruments to bring mind and body in sync
- Reflection on our intentions at this special time of the year, and our inner light
After the session, we'll come back together for some tea and festive treats.
Soften, surrender and create space for new beginnings as you come away feeling a deep sense of inner peace and contentment.
Note: please bring a yoga mat, any yoga props e.g. bricks/blosters, cozy layers and blankets (a must!) and anything else to make you feel comfy on the floor.
